I put this little tool online because it's sometimes useful for webmasters/surfers or it's a Frequently Asked Question.


MD5 (Message-Digest Algorithm) is an one-way encryption algorithm. (at this date, nobody can decrypt a MD5 key (= hash))
For this reason, this algorithm became very useful and very used.

Example of use:
It is used to store password in Databases, to verify mails/files...

String to encrypt:

(this example form convert a plain text to a MD5 key (= hash))
